Dear Investors,

Today was our Investors Club meeting and was well attended with over 50 guests. The focus was moving forward after our 5 May General Election. The BN won and that has confirmed our analysis. We were among the few forecasting a bullish stock market reaction . A forecast is one thing but what is important is putting our money where our mouth is. Anyone can forecast but money talks the loudest.

We just returned from a 1 week holiday to Hanoi and Hai Long Bay. Vietnam is booming. Their stock index is up over 20 % in the last quarter. Hotels are filled with tourists and businessmen. Everywhere there is construction. There is a property boom.

Dear Subscribers

Today, Saturday morning we held our investment talk “DNA for Above Average Return for KLSE” coupled with introduction to Magic Scanner for KLSE/SGX at the Jupiter office. It was well attended by 26 serious investors. We were able to find several high odds opportunities despite the overwhelming pessimism by the retail crowd. In fact CIMB research pointed out last week that for the last 19 weeks small retailers have been net sellers while foreign funds are net buyers. (more…)
